Ongoing series, latex paint, varied dimensions

"The Eyes are the Windows to the Soul" - and Windows are the eyes to past stories and possibilities of abandoned buildings? While passing numerous boarded-up buildings, envisioning the potential futures and histories within them sparked the concept of painting life and vibrancy into these spaces in an unexpected way . Beyond just the boarded-up windows, attention to small details that seemed to narrate a tale, I deemed worthy of accentuating to ignite discussions on what might have been or could still be. Through my distinctive watercolor technique, with no primary subject in the foreground, the focus shifts to those boarded-up windows, glimpses of exposed brick, or any of those instances that resemble a "scar" narrating a story. This is an ongoing project.
